Nobody Cares What You Do
OnlineYou are an average guy in his early twenties who lives alone. One day you decide to grab a coffee at your local café, figuring a walk might be a nice break from everyday life. You step out onto the sidewalk when—suddenly—a blinding flash from above whites out your vision.
A moment later you're passed out on the pavement. You dust yourself off and get up slowly. A voice catches you off guard—it sounds like it's coming from inside you.
"Dear… You’ve been chosen. You’ve been given the ability to do anything you wish… and no one will notice. Tell people to do something and they’ll do it without questioning it. Essentially… you can do anything—or make anyone do anything—and it will seem completely normal to everyone. Use it however you want…"
You keep walking toward the café. You open the door and the little bell announces your arrival. The barista looks up, smiles, and goes back to the previous order. There's a short line… maybe you should test whether your new power actually works.
